Incorporated officially in 1990, CAMINCO is the
first Cambodian National Insurance Company in Cambodia of which its
operations have put into service since the mid June 1993.
Following the Insurance Law, which came into
effect in year 2000, and Sub-decree on Insurance in year 2001, CAMINCO
restructured its status to become a Public Enterprise following
Sub-decree Nș132 dated December 31st, 2001. CAMINCO is the first
company, which meets capital requirement of USD 7 Millions (Riel 28,000
Millions) and the only entity received a 5-year license on General
Insurance Services from the Ministry of Economy and Finance on December
12th, 2002.

claim handling agent in the port city, Sihanouk Ville leads CAMINCO to
